The headliner really isn't that bad to pull down., you wouldn't even need to take it all the way out.

 

It was odd that some of the Dale Jr. cars didn't come with the antenna and some did.I wonder way since they were a full option vehicle.

 

Can't wait to get mine in the mail tomorrow!!!!! one more thing to make me want to pull the monte out of storage now!! Lol

I guess it was done for a variety. Mine didn't come with a sunroof or onstar. But it did come with xm radio. The original owner didn't order the car, it was on display at a lot.

My Dale jr didn't have the roof antenna, just the cell phone style antenna on the rear glass for the onstar. In 2004, the cars GM sold in Canada didn't come with xm satellite radio. Wasn't licensed for broadcast in Canada at the time. So there was no point in installing any xm satellite radio components in Canadian cars.
