Whoever made that box has excellent craftsmanship! Very nice work! This setup should be noticeably louder than your sealed setup. Im assuming the opening that was cut in the back deck is to allow the bass to enter the cabin, right? What 8's are those and was an enclosure made for them? You ever make it to the TL last weekend? Who does ur install work? Whoever it is has some creativity and clearly some skills. I'm lovin' the controller in the center console, its removable right?

A guy named Morgan and I built it on the weekends .It is louder than the sealed setup was I am guessing 3 DB wont know until this weekend .

Yes that is 100% correct it is to help get the sound out of the trunk into the cabin we built a total of 3 boxes until we ended up settling on this one .We tried to vent the box into the cabin and there was not enough room for us to do because of the box size and the length, width ,height of the 2 vents needed it so sadly I had to stick with the rear fire and a passive air vent cut into the rear deck

What 8's are those and was an enclosure made for them?

They are Focal 210 ca1 and they are not in an enclosure. I needed them to help my RTA score so I did not have a drop more that + or -3 db in the mid bass ranges on the RTA

Who does ur install work?
Audio Works ( 1 man shop ) the owner and I do the work. We trade the work on my car work for me helping him at his shop with sales and installs . I will pass it on to him that you like our work .

yes it was a good location for it it is 6" x 1 3/4" x 1/2"and we looked all over for a place to mount it so it looked like it belonged in the car . I was going to use ti because it cost a extra $150 for it and it makes it a ton more easier to set the system up . I is detachable and also has a remote if you need it .

You ever make it to the TL last weekend?

we had his Audio Control 3050 RTA at the shop but his TL mic for the laptop had some sort of problem and we need some kind of adaptor for it to get it work right I have my first comp with the car this coming weekend so we will see how it does there .
