I'll stay civil, as long as I'm unprovoked. Don't take a shot at me and expect me to do nothing - that's all I'm saying.

Just wait, I'll try to get a better video, and throw in a video of my Honda's exhaust too.

trewyn15, thanks for the compliments man, I've definately put a lot of time and money into this car. If only I had an air compressor, I could actually get it looking decent.

I've only painted with a compressor one time, a long time ago. As long as your surface is sanded smooth and the surface is clean, it's no problem. Just take simple even strokes with the paint gun. I have a LOT of work to do - I think I'll do the sanding/painting myself, but I'm going to take it to a professional for dent removal.

What kind of dents do you need removed? Are they bad enough to need filler work or could they be smoothed out by the paintless dent guy? Those guys work wonders sometimes. You cant even see the dents when they are done.

There's a nasty dent on the driver's side rear quarter panel, right below the window. Some bitch backed into me and drove off, cops couldn't do anything about it. IDK if they can be taken care of by the paintless dent guys, I'm sure it's creased - so either filler or welding is required most likely. The other dent is on the driver's fender, it's really thin sheetmetal... I should probably just get a new fender that's OEM. Those two dents and the little dings from doors and whatnot. I'm going to have this car looking beautiful one day.

You gonna keep the car black or go with a different color?

It's either going to be gloss black or metallic black. Most likely gloss - there's nothing like a crisp black car.

I say go deep black with no metallic or any other toners added. I cant remember the code but GM has a paint color that is just pure deep black tonor right off the shelf. Cant get any blacker and it looks awesome.
