Entered the Quaker Steak and Lube car show today and i won Best In Show for Modified Vehicles in my class.
Score 1 for my monte! hardwork pays off! hopefully more trophies to come!

Congrats! - the shows I go to they NEVER give best of show to newer cars. How did your Monte get into a modified class anyway? Is it because of the graphics you have on it?
thanks! and they asked if ive done anything to the car and i said that i have a CAI and aftermarket graphics so they said it was modified lol

I go to shows that are full of grumpy old men LOL!!!! The people who run the shows are afraid that if they give a newer car a best of no one will attend their other shows - stupid but thats what I have to deal with.
Usually you can get away with 3 mods to stay in stock class. My 03 has 3 mods - graphics, K&N CAI and exhaust and I always enter my car in stock.

ahhhh that stinks! no other group of people have car shows near you?? the one i go to they award from 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, 65-70, 70-75, 75-80, 80-85, 85-90, 90-95, 95-00, 00-05, and 05-10+
