Default My Healed Monte!

Well as many of you know, my 01 SS was fussing a lot in the past month or so. I had voltage issues, cluster problems, running/skipping & missing problems, a tire blowout and a notorious clunk in the front end. After replacing a coil, an alternator, a battery, plugs & wires, UIM, LIM and repairing a bad ground and 2 shorted wires in the main harness near the coolant tank...I now have a perfectly running Monte Carlo once again with no issues. The clunk is fixed as well - not sure how, my Dad's buddy fixed it and never really said what it was but it drives like a champ once again! I still have slight dimming from my 10" Type R when it hits so I think I will put a capacitor on it since I can get a brand new one for $50 from good old Best Buy. But I am finally happy to be driving this car again after a bad month or so of hating the darn thing. Just thought I would post on the healing of my beloved Monte and update you all!

Hahaha me toooo! It was a nightmare and lots of depressing phone calls to my father - I think he was beginning to not like me calling him from college

Glad to hear you got it fixed. I would be interested in knowing what the clunk was and how it was fixed. Also everytime I see your pic of your car I think it's an 06 or 07 because of the rims. They look great and I may pick up a set if I ever run across them.
