If that doesn't do it, I would bring it to another dealer to get the work done. While under warranty GM actually pays the dealership for work so I wouldn't keep going to the same group and let the car soak up.

 

Rear main seal on mine went out about two weeks ago too. Wonder if this is a common problem with our cars?

 

Hmmm, I feel for you man. My monte was actually a rental, and we didn't find out until we found a rental warranty card stuck under one of the front seats, and boy was my dad pissed. But I've been mostly trouble free, had the tire montering system and the paneling in the rear seats. Out of warrenty now though so hopefully everything stays nice, I have put well over the majority of the miles on this car and I've taken care of it.

 

Why was your dad upset that it was a rental? No biggie.

 

If it is like any rental I've had that means it gets beat on like no other car out there.

 

If it's made well it'll hold up just fine though.

 

I remember once renting an Olds Luxury model and was jumping it over RR tracks. The transmission almost didnt get us back to the rental agency.

 

And this is an EXACT example of what not to do in a rental car! Kids....j/k

its kind of like on that blue colar comedy when he was talking about what they did ina rental car...lol
