The progressive adjust is going to have the struts replaced because the wheel is toed out..

I said it drives beautifully and he told me that he doesn't want me wearing my nice tires down and being unsafe...

Let me know if you want me to post Photo Updates.... I get pretty much a daily update of my car....

Sorry to hear about your Monte, but also glad you're OK! Make sure you check the paint and the seams when you go to pick it up. When I went to get my car after the accident, the body shop (which was recommended by both the dealer and the insurance company), had messed up the paint. There was a whole bunch of dirt and dust trapped under the paint. They fixed it, but I was without a car for a while. Good luck, and keep us updated

It's so cool that they send you photo updates! Seriously, like vincentvega said, and I can't stress this enough, check all the seams, body moldings and paint B4 you leave, even the most recommended places screw up. THey are so busy now with all the weather-related wrecks

Looks like they replaced the strut and straightened out the front wheel. Shouldn't be long now from the looks of it.

Well I got a call that it will be done Monday... Not sure how but here is the progress from Friday. Looks the same as Thursday except that it is outside. I am guessing they moved it while waiting for parts so that they can allocate room for other cars..

Well, I did not get it back yet. They want another day to wrap it up..

I am cool with that.. I would rather have it done right.. I don't want a rush job..

Or the supplier sent2000 -2005 parts by mistake. That happens quite a bit. Especially when the body shop is dealing with a junkyard. A lot of people assume that all the body parts are interchangeable on Montes from 2000 to 2007. Hell, I`ve seen some websites selling exterior body parts, that advertise: "fits all 1999-2008 Chevy Monte Carlo". Didn`t know there was a 2008 Monte. And when did 6th gen body panels start fitting on 5th gen cars?

Hope you get your Monte back soon!

BTW... is that the passenger`s seatbelt sticking out from the bottom of the door in that last pic? Or what the heck is that?
