Ok my g/f is wanting exhaust on her car. She say's that the Flowmaster's are little to loud for her(from being in my car). So I was wondering what you guys think? Borla, Dynomax, or Magnaflow?

 

Also has anyone seen the Borla XS muffler, what makes them so much differant then the turbo style ones?

 

Either Dynomax or Magnaflow... I liked my Dynomax except for how quiet it was .. if she wants quiet, Dynomax is for her. However, I'll tell you a secret to it.....


It comes with 2 mufflers just like the ones laready on it as far as I can tell... I didn't cut them up to see though. I think you could just replace her resonator with a glasspack and get the same sound for a lot cheaper.

 

Regardless of who you choose... MAKE SURE IT IS DYNO TUNED for your car!!! to balance out that Torque (lowend) and free flowing Horsepower (topend).

 

I really don't think she could care less about the performance, lol. That's my thing, lol. We've been listening to sound clips and she really likes how Borla sounds.

 

borla is kinda loud... and EXPENSIVE!!!! like $1000 for the system... not worth it to me.

 

We are just going to change the mufflers not a whole system.

Yeah she doesn't want to spend a lot of money just want something that sounds good.
