Many people don't know what they are actually looking at when they glance at it

 

Definitely the wheels. And no lie, it used to be the paint. Before the bumpers peeled the overall paint condition is what impressed my dad and I enough to buy it.

 

I would have to say the overall look of the car. Most people around here see them mostly in stock form. I have had a lot of people this summer tell me mine really sticks out even at cruise ins.

I guess it depends on who is looking at the car. At a car show mine is just like Chibi's, almost everyone will walk right on by it, too funny, but they do. It's not like a 68 Camaro or 32 Ford that they have already seen a hundred zillion times, so they are not interested in our Monte's. Nothing to see here, move on...

If a Monte person is looking at it they typically comment on the cars overall great condition, for being 12 years old.

If I was to narrow it down, most comments are about the interior.

I have one more interior mod I'm doing right now, should be done by Wednesday. After that it's small things like aftermarket gas, brake pedals etc.

 

I think i live in the wrong area to get compliments about the car around town. The style here is pretty much rice and imports, and i'm never able to go to local cruise ins.

 

I get the most compliments on just the overall condition of the car. 2003 Pace Car,90,000 miles almost perfect interior,nice paint usually from other chevy or Monte owners??

 

I haven't done much but i do get a lot of compliments on the wheels. They're black 18" Zinik Z32's

 

I think the best thing about my Monte is Look of the car and the Engine


I have a new mod being done right now should move me to a whole new level.

 

IMO, it's the look on some unsuspecting commuter face when they drop there cell phone and watch my Monte suk the paint off there ride and ask them self, wtf kinda car was that...
