Default Moonroof for you MC Please leave feedback

Yo peeps.

I got an 03 MC SS, and was noticing that for the moonroof, it doesnt have one of those pop-up wind shields built-in when the moonroof is open. Is mine missing or are all MC's made like that?

I dont really want to get one from auto-zone, due to they look dumb, but the noise gets old.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks

those are all aftermarket add-ons. Some of the local dealers can add one that looks pretty stock for around 50-75 bucks that comes sraight from gm. But you'd be better off to just to buy one at your local auto parts store.

Those flip up air deflectors come with moonroofs as standard equipment from the manufacturer. However, Monte's don't have them because they are not a true moonroof but what's called a spoiler roof. One that slides on top of the car. A true moonroof drops down into the headliner of the vehicle and the air deflector pops up. I know this because my S10 blazer has a moonroof in it. Hope this helps.

The only time my sunroof is closed is when it's raining hard. I like the airflow it gives. Neither my '01 nor this '04 has had any leak problems.

I hear if you use armour-all or "rubber rejuvinator" on those seals, it will greatly extend the life of the seals, Anyone know if there is any truth about this?

I use a mineral oil on all the seals of my car just before winter to keep them from freezing and to keep them soft & healthy....it does work.
