I like the 20's, but you can't put any miles on one on 20's, as the rubber just isn't tall enough, and any RR tracks that are rough, or any chuck holes, and you just bent a wheel. I want 20's but won't buy them for a daily driver. I'm happy with my 18's.

I daily drive with my twenties and have no issues, the ride is hardly any rougher than stock. No lift or suspension work is needed. Have any of you ridden in, or drove a car with twenties? They're really not bad at all, and I've hit some serious MI potholes and have not sustained any damage.

most of you are talkin newer montes where you can fit 20's fairly easy with little or no mods where i am talk 4th gen or older where they have to lift them to compensate for the rim

I got a nice 32" twelve spoke wheel you can put on if you like.
I've always said, I prefer rims to look proportionate to the rest of the car. Too big AND too small looks bad in my opinion.
I agree that the wheel well on the 2000+ Montes make it easy to fit rims upto a maximum of 20". But the larger the rim, the less rubber you have. That means a rougher ride.
Plus, the roads around here are so bad, if you have rims 20" or larger, it's not a matter of IF you will bend your rims. It's a matter of WHEN you will bend your rims.
I don't have that kind of money to spend $1000+ to replace a bent rim everytime I hit a pot-hole.

20's arent as bad as people think, i have 20's on my 05 monte, no lift, they fit pretty good and still look classy rather than trashy
now on the other hand the older monte's with the lifts and 20's and up, i think its stupid, older monte's specially round the 80's models should be done one of two ways, big block & performance mods, or hydraulics and 100 spokes
