Monte SSV farewell from Utah photo's
Well she is done! Sam's Monte is being readied for transport this next week for it's return trip to Michigan. Wanted to take advantage of the last time I will ever see this Monte in Utah and snap it's last photo's. Sam was here to finalize everything and what a treat it is everytime to meet him. Just a real standup individual, one could talk to him for hours, just a real good man. Sam treated Matt and I to a nice lunch and it was sad in a way to know this was all coming to an end here. Yet a new beginning back at his Michigan home is awaiting you who live there or abouts.
The Monte's hood really sets off this car from the daily driver Monte or a mass produced one like mine. From behind the SSV badges might tip the observant contender, but most will not understand what this Monte SSV is till they pull up along side her and hear her rumble and see her nose.
Goodbye Sam and your very special Monte Carlo SSV. The time spent with you has been an honor. The time watching your Monte being built has been enlightening. My Monte has been improved from what Matt has learned while doing your build. THANKS SO MUCH!
The Monte's cockpit, clean cut, sleek yet complicated.
Matt and Sam discussing how they will kill the ZO6 in a few minutes.
Trunk mounted battery and the Water to Air Intercooler reservoir. Under the spare tire area is the ice storage for the coolant.
Note the Custom made OEm beadlock wheels. Anyone ever see these center caps available before? Nope, Custom made SS caps.
The only 2007 Monte Carlo in the world with the Top of the line Willwood braking system. 6 Piston calipers. Not easy to have done this.
Line Locks on rear brakes for when doing a burnout at the track. Custom brakelines
Custom one off LS7 UIM adorned by Custom Monte UIM Emblem

All Hail the Grand Monte Carlo SSV!!

A truly unique, custom one-off Monte Carlo. Nice to see a project come to a close, especially one lasting four years. I bet Sam is thrilled to have the car back after the wait.
Taking a look at the videos you posted, that thing is an absolute beast.
Very nice!

Thanks everyone for your comments. We can all be rest assured Sam is pleased with the final build. And will be attending some car events back in Michigan this summer. Think some forum members and him have already did some preliminary scheduling.
I can only go WOW when I see and hear it. Truly a Monte you want to see if given the opportunity. I have to say when his car is next to mine and I see all his modifications, my Monte comes across as a simple toy compared to his Monte.
