.......It's possible that this property is tied up in litigation ? Someone has to be paying property tax on it ? It's a mystery for sure.......

leave a note on the door of the house with your contact info & stating that your interested in the car. that's how we've picked up lots of cars for free or a couple $100 bucks. heck, thats how i got my '65 buick for free.

I once got a Triumph TR3 parts car that way, left a note on it, got it for $250. That was back when I had space to work on things. And disposable income.

But this town geeze. We once had a vehicle abatement officer that was a VW enthusiast. She knew where every beetle and microbus was and heaven help you if you didn't move it every three days. But old clapped out trailers would sit on the street for ever. Yes, she got fired.

ok, if you know a cop see if there is a title on it. if there isnt, go and apply for a lost title using the vin. if there is, search the house address online and see if you can find a name of the last owner. use that and phone lookup databases online to find a number on that person from there. what is the vin by the way? dont have to say if you dont want
