Yes it is!!! I purchased a barely used exhaust system from a guy that own a Grand prix. It is a SLP Grand Prix Stainless Steel Exhaust 31015am w/ SLP PowerFlo Mufflers. The Exhaust tips are the Grand Prix style. The 31015AM part number is for the whole Grand Prix exhaust system and I compared it to the 31028M part number for a Monte Carlo system and every part number is the same except or the tips.




There are 3 choices for exhaust tips.
  • Choice "A" 31040AM - 3.5" Slash Tips
  • Choice "B" 31040M - Dual-Dual Tips
  • Choice "C" 31015AM - Trapezoidal Tips
and
  • 31028M is for Monte Carlos
  • 31024M is for Impalas

i bet at one point in time someone walked up to the wrong monte carlo and tried to open it because they looked identical
