Hey guys, hows everyone doing. Me? ****ty. So I finally got one of those bad-*** SLP grills for my 01 monte. I had it on for 2 days and guess what. Some ****job stole it off my car at work. I spent 100$ on it and some douchebag stole it. I check my grille when I parked her in the am, and when i was off in the pm, it was gone. I looked at my grille and was like there is no effing way somebody stole theeffingplastic grille off my car. I work at colgate palmolive as an engineering intern, and some assclown stole my grille. There is a douche with a mustang all riced out, if IcouldI would **** all over his gay car just to make a statment, but its already an asaparagus blended with pisslookingcolor. So the day it was robbed off my car, I did not go out to lunch, and it did not fall off. WTF! I miss the sucker, plus I cant find my monte badge emblem. Anyone got a link to a good price on the grille? Anyone got a spare for sale? Let me know how you guys are doing with yours,

man that would **** me off...sorry to hear about your luck..hopefully you can find it...if your in a small town there can't bee too many monte's and if someone took it maybe you can spot it...

its a shame because they're so expensive and theyre just heald on with tape!!

 

yeah this is yeat another reason for me not to put one on my car.

thought about doign the tony stewart version. but i was hearing of folks getting them stolen.

they need ot be fastend on a diffrent way that can hodl them on better.

 

once thery're on there for more than a day though..you would have to work really hard to get it off...you wouldn't be able to get mine off unless you had boiling water to pour on it

If I buy a new one, im gonna use extra adhesive enhancer to keep the sucker on. Mine was on there so good the first time, the ****head ripped off paint with the grille when he stole it

 

yeah the bad part is working a big factory like that someone in the parking lot dont raise to much concern,

it just sux that stickey fingerd ****** cant be treated the same way they do in India. I would cut of fhtier hand in a heart beat.

but then i hate theft with a passion. i have been a victm to many times becuse i like to fix up cars it is like they become a targets. with or with out the alarms i hae had them broken in to.
Jus tcome to the conclution to insure it for full covearge and pay for the lower deductabel and know i will have to claim on stuff once in a while

 

if you have a way to do it Fashion a clip on the back side of it so you screw it in to there and it holds to the org. grill also. there is a hole back there that your covering anyway.
drill a small hole under where the knight emblem gose and screw a flat washer in the cak side of it. If they grab it and try taking it off it will crack it in the center and break it on them also.then just paint your screw head black or the color of the car with a small amount of touch up paint.
Dont for get the red lock tight so it wont come lose on you after you install it.

might not kepe them from trying but it will keep them from getting a good one for thier car.
