Monte Friends
I was driving East on RT30 in Merrillville, IN and I drive past Schepel Buick GMC. To my surprise I see a hot pair of twins from my peripheral vision. I just had to stop. I wish I had my camera, but these cell phone pics will have to do.
As soon as I got out of my car a salesman was harpin' on me about putting another in my drive way, I snapped a few pics and told him I'm good with my one and only.

LOL that's awesome, and really makes me want to tint my car... (jerk)
Often when I see a Monte Carlo in a dealership, I go in and ask them questions about the car, and the engine, and various things that they often get wrong. And I just look at them and tell them I'm not longer interested since they know so little then walk a good distance to my Monte and drive by waving so they knew they were dealing with someone that actually owned the car. I should pull along side and snap pictures haha

Very cool Rick! When I was shopping for my 05 Monte I went to this fairly large Chevy dealership and asked one of the very young sales people if they had any used Monte Carlos on the lot and they asked me who makes it.... Umm ya, and you are working at a Chevy dealership. I think I was still unemployed at the time - I should have asked for their job LOL!!!!!!

Both are really low miled Monte S.S.
I don't think their price is that `high for the last
generation V8 SS Monte Carlo.
I know dealers mark `up their cars, so that they can give the future buyer more for their trade.

I think `if someone walked in with $18k CASH, they
would consider the offer, and `if they haven't sold many
cars that month, they would take it : ) Maybe

Thanks for the comments. I've always kind of had a dream of being a car salesman. I honestly think I'd be great at it since I would be very informed on the vehicles. New cars would be easier than used cars, but still. It looks awesome. Too bad the economy stinks, I'd look for an opening. lol

....Those are some MC's but are over priced . Someone will get them.
But, yeah like Mike said, it's a good idea to go in there and test the
knowledge of the salesmen. It's always helpful to have any kind of
advantage when car shopping..........and knowing is half the Battle....
