Time to resurrect a dead post but I got an e-mail this morning from the company that I ordered my 1/18th scale from. They have new 1/24 2004 Monte Carlo die-cast (black, blue, yellow and burgundy) for those interested.

I did a search for Monte Carlo on that site. They got a lot of 4th gens. A couple 1970's, and a 1971.

I bought my 1:24 scale '86 Montes at swap meets. In the $10-15 range.

The blue '04 SS was purchahed off ebay. We added the Pace car decals so it looks like our car.

Currently I have a red 1/18th scale model that we bought when my mother had an 03 SS in Victory red. We had to get it when we saw it in the hobby shop.

Now I have to find a black one!

Here is my 2004 1/24......side of car says Monte Carlo SS......but lookie at my cute little supercharged engine(it even has my matching correct plenum/engine cover)! I wish the interior was tan like mine so I could customize it to match my real Monte. Maybe one day I will find a 1/18 of my year, supercharged, and with tan inside.....

That's so cool! It has the 2 tone interior like the Earnhardt and Pace Cars!
