Monte Carlo Nationals 2011
Come and gone, it was a really fun day. I knew I wasn't going to be able to stay the whole weekend (money) but just going on Saturday was a lot of fun. I got to see a bunch of great Monte Carlos, and hang out with a bunch of great people. The weather was a tad warm, but luckily the sun stayed behind clouds so it wasn't too bad.
It was definitely a great show, but I don't know if I'll make it next year. Will probably head over to the GM Nationals. Now I just have to hope I can have my turbo build finished by then!
On with the Pictures!
(My girlfriend Jenna had to jump in on her 2 favorite cars at the show)
Chris, representing the MCF! I finally got mine put on my rear window, just not in time for the Nats.
Look at that newly debadged and clean trunk
(I'm mad that the shot of the car got blown out, didn't realize where my FStop was sitting, stupid thumb.) This car was a beast!
(I can't believe my car used to look just like that black one on the right way back in 2000... and only for about a month)

Thanks! I'm actually actively looking into buying a new lens for it. My pictures can have such better quality, I just have the lens that came in a kit and those usually have poor quality to keep the costs down.

Great pics Mike! My friend from WI was there with his 2002 Dale sig series Monte. He wasn't entered in class 8 though - he went in class 10 - the gold class (he already won one at last years nationals with his 87 aero coupe).

wow, I guess I missed this thread from earlier....
Great pics Mike, I'm just a little bummed I didn't hang with you guys longer, my loss though, everyone from the MCF was very cool and it was great to meet all of you.......

Nice pics. I like every monte you posted. I never liked the over under headlight design, even passed up a great deal on a 74 malibu because of it, but now I like them. I do like the single round light the best tho.
