hey space. the first monte like that was created in 1997 and hinted the bodystyle of the 6th gen, 2000 monte body style. it was red and had his signature plaque mounted in the engine bay. it was recently sold january of this year. i cant remember how much it sold for but it was alot. it was the actual concept car and dale earnhardt sr helped design it himself. just a cool fact i thought i would share. it looked just like the concept car you posted

Ok, I have been collecting Nascar/non-Nascar/Hot Wheels/Matchbox/and a bunch of other types of die-cast for a long time now. I want to sell off some of my Nascar stuff and others tho so I can use the money for my Monte. Anyway, this is my find for this year. Took me so long to find. It is a black 1/24 2004 Monte Carlo SS, but get this, when you open the hood it has my Supercharged motor! In the past at swap meets I have seen the older style wheels and spoiler on a bigger diecast 1/18 but I wanted one to look like mine, except it doesn't say Supercharged on the sides and interior is not tan but this is the closest I could find to mine. Look at the little supercharger! It's soooooo cute! Might try to do my stripes on it someday! Also took some pics of my real Monte today so I have something for the gallery/garage as I add stuff to her.
