what is the BEST mufflers or change to factory mufflers of the 2006 ss monte carlo??

flowmaster 40's or you could check into flowmaster 44's (they're new)

they sound awesome on a v8

i just swapped my flowmaster 40s out for the 44s. Best thing ive done to the car.

CAN YOU JUST REPLACE THE MUFFLERS WITH THE FLOWMASTERS 40'S AND STILL GET A GOOD SOUND??

yup but getting rid of the resonator for straight pipe will give you a little more noise

I JUST DON'T WANT THE INTERIOR TO GET LOUD WHEN NORMAL DRIVING. SO RES NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF TO GET THE FULL AFFECTS. THANKS.

yah if you dont want it noisy inside you may want to look at keeping the resonator, or look into magnaflow's possibly, they're less noisy, but i still think your going to get some sory of resonance in the car

I HEARD A SS IMALA 06 WITH THE MAGNAFLOWS AND IT SOUNDED GOOD. THANKS.
