Default Mods for 7th gen?

I have searched around a bit to try to pull up some info but i had no luck. What mods are there availible for the 7th gen monte carlos? Anything from exterior to interior to motor and suspension. If this has already been posted sorry for wasting your time.

Also, are the 2006 taillights the same as the 2005s? because people have aftermarket tail lights, but only for the 6th gen.

there is a very subtle difference in the taillights.. they are different. there are no CAI's or Cat-Back systems available for htem yet.

for a few ideas, you can sniff around in the post i made in this section called "FAQ: Exhuast and CAI" if you're interested in building your own CAI, there you go. really though, not much of anything you coudln't do to another car. there are tuners and CAI's for hte 06-07 SS if you can afford one.

Can't think of much else now other than various vinyl deals and whatnot

As far as I know you would have to go through a dealer or a site like gmpartsdirect.com.

Oh, how could I forget, there is the Razzi body kit, I really like the look of it and plan on getting it in black someday for my Monte.

I purchased a Magnaflow cat back exhaust system from Planetmagnaflow.com for my 2007 SS. I also picked up a K&N cold air intake (K&N part#63-3059) for less than $200.00 on Ebay. The Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs(Eibach part#38113.140) are on Drivewire.com but they are not actually available yet. I ordered a set and Drivewire cancelled the order the following day.I then called Eibach and was informed that this part number won't even be released from Eibach's R&D department to go into production until mid March. They should be available about 4-6 weeks after that. Drivewire should really remove that part number from their website. There is alot of performance to be found with a good performance tune on the ECM & TCM. You can purchase an ECM & TCM with a performance tune already installed from Vector Motorsports or you can get the tuner software and necessary hardware interfaceto tune it yourself from HP Tuners. Iam also going to purchasea 3" downpipe with a high flow cat from Hogan Performance(part#DP7S).Hogans website lists this part number for the 2006 SS,but Hogan confirmed to me that this number also works on 2007's.

is the cold air intake for that hood only for the 5.3... or will it work with a 3.9?

I was told that it should work with the 3.9L as well, I want to get it someday, but I just don't have about $1,000 to blow right now.
