Yesterday driving back from vacation, we stopped at a garage sale. I was looking at some stuff and heard my fiancee say to me, "hey, there is a car just like yours". I turn around and saw a lady get out of a Dale Jr MC. I told her I liked her car and that I had one like it. She asked me if it had the "8" on it and I told her it did and that it was a Dale Jr car just like hers. Hers was kind of dirty and had bird crap on it which she made mention of. I asked her how many miles she had on it but she didn't hear me. Her leather seats looked a little more worn than mine so it may have more than mine.

She asked me where I lived since she had seen two other Dale Jr's in the area at some time or another. I actually saw one in Branson MO. the other day and she mentioned she had seen one there before also.

I had seen a Dale Jr car at this bank that we always go by in this little town near where we live and come to find out, it was the lady's that came to the garage sale. I just wish I had been driving mine so I could see two of them side by side.

I just thought it was neat to talk to another owner of a special edition car that was like the one I owned.

Ever notice how you don't seem to be driving your Monte when you run into someone with the same car? You're like, "I swear I have one. You gotta believe me." LOL

I remember someone came through the drive thru at where I work with the same car as mine, I think even the same year. I told him nice car, and pointed to mine and said that was mine. The guy seemed like he didn't care, I guess he just wanted his burgers.

 

Ya I don't get it. I have met people on the road with cool lookin M/Cs and even pulled up along side them and they just look staight ahead. How can you drive a cool ride and not even notice a bro with a similar ride as yourself? Must not be gear-heads.

 

The other funny thing was that her car had the exact same tires on it that mine does. Cooper CS4 Touring tires. It was pretty neat though to talk to another owner.

Haha, I love meeting other Monte owners and having talks.

Although most of the time we are in Jenna's Impala and we pull up along a Monte and I can't give a nod

 

I've seen a few JR's, and maybe 3 or 4 Intimidators.

I love owning my Sr.
This thing looks sexy after a good washing.

 

I like the intimidators also and wouldn't mind owning one myself. I've not seen too many of them around here but you have to look a little closer to seperate them from the other black MC's.
