I believe they were, but sometimes gm will make some cars in mexico like the cavalier's used to be, you could always tell by the vin numbers on the cavalier's anyways.
I was lucky enough to tour the oshawa plant quite a few years ago as the company I used to work for was a gm supplier so they would periodically send a group of us up to tour the facility and just see where our parts were going into the vehicles. Massive place and so much robotics, even the cars travel around the plant on automatic sleds that follow the sensors in the floors

I actually found this sticker by accident,i pushed my door out a little too far and now it wont close,i thought it was the latch but it was much worse,i actually bent a piece of the car where the door bolts too,its kind of bowed out so Il have to give it a few good hits with a rubber mallet to get that metal to sit flat again
