Silverstars are probably your best bet.

Are the silverstars still bright blue in color? Is there that much of a difference between them and the HID?

I've been thinking about upgrading as well.

I've heard about Silverstar Ultras and was considering them, my car still has the stock bulbs in it. Actually, had the stock battery in it from 2000 until this past Saturday. 9 years with the same battery, crazy.

Silverstar Ultras are great bulbs.... For us with H11 bulbs go with Osram Night Breakers.

They don't look blue, they are a very bright white.

Your stock bulbs look yellowish, silverstar ultras are WHITE.
