Look at what Walmart did to my rims!

Now having said that I hope my Chevy dealer stands behind the scratches they put on my car last week.
They better have some idea they type pf person I am by now. And even the ***. service manager commented he couldn't believe I brought my '06 Monte out on a nasty day like last wednesday. To me this proves he knows the condition I keep my car.

A shopping cart hitting your car in a parking lot is in no way the stores fault unless an employee did it or the cart return was not set up properly. I used to work at Giant Eagle and it happened all the time. The store wont take responsibility for it cause well, its not their fault. The rims on the other hand are definately their fault. They should pay for them to be fixed. You probably wont get new rims out of the deal, looks minor enough to have them wetsanded and re-cleared.

I agree - they should get you new rims. I went to a local Chevy dealership with my Red Monte to get the center caps replaced under warrantee because they were pittting. So, I see some service guy TAKE A FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER to pry off the old center caps - I thought I would just die. He gouged my wheels and I made the dealership replace all of the wheels, and they did and after that I never went back there!

Well I brought the car back to wallyworld today and talked to the assistant manager. He and his bay manager looked at the wheels for about thirty seconds and said the rims will be replaced, and that I should hear from their insurance company tomorrow. He also apologized and said they were actually in the process of getting all of their tire machines replaced. Can't complain about that kind of service I guess. Hopefully they will let me keep the old ones so I can keep my snows mounted on them!

Well that would work out great if they let you keep the old set! Now you will have a set of winter wheels and a set of brand new wheels to keep nice! I wish I had another set of wheels for the winter.
