Default Look what showed up on the lot across the street!

I had to post a picture. This Monte Carlo showed up in a car lot specializing in corvettes near my office. '76 or '77, I've forgotten which had the square headlights. Hubcaps and interior look original. So big you could put one of those corvettes in the trunk.

Wow they were cool in the day but they are kind of a boat.
The hood was so long you land a plane on it.
A friend of mine had one and it had Swivel bucket seats

Thanks for posting/sharing... I like it.
The dealer is asking $8,900. and it sold new in 76 for around
$4,600 Who said that the Chevy Monte Carlo doesn't hold it's value... It was RWD & you could get a 350 C.I. engine

The 1976 Monte Carlo topped 1975 sales by more than 90,000 units.

That would be a '77. I had a '76. I believe 350 cu.in. was standard, but you could get a 400 cu.in.
The only difference I'm aware of is the '77 had a hood ornament.
Loved that car.
