Default LOL my monte is going through some issues

Weird, last night i drove her and she was perfectly fine. This morning i go to start her up and it starts up with a sever random cylinder misfire to the point where the motor is ready to come off its mounts. So i turned it off n reset the PCM, problem gone without a trace.

Then i go to drive and my left front brakes are humming and right front hub bearing is knocking. Odd cuz I get a complete tune up every January and brakes are less than a year old, right bearing and axle are about 6 months old.

I get to my destination and turn the car off, hour later i turn it on again and start driving, not one noise is repeating it self.

Anyone else notice things like that happening to their monte?

Sometimes the weather can make the sensors do crazy things.

This cold is bringing out all the noise in my monte. Hubs, strut plates, ISS.

lol well i couldn't stand it anymore, the noises all come and go and it drove me nuts so, i decided to pull the tires off and noticed the right axle is missing both CV Boots (wtf they were there 2 months ago). anyways i changed the axle since it was bone dry now and now the car is back to being quite.

also i did some other much needed repairs but they're small stuff that make day and night of a difference. the Random misfire hasn't reoccurred so not too worried until it happens again if ever.

yeah, its really odd! unless they were removed by someone somehow i don't see any other way they can rip completely off and disappear, its pretty thick rubber don't forget....

All it takes is a little tear in a boot to rip the whole thing off. It is kinda weird they both ripped off tho. Maybe it was damaged when you put it in or maybe you ran something over.

I have never seen one completely come off unless someone used one of those quick boot kits. Usually they just tear and sling the grease everywhere.
