Default A Little Something I did (Pics)

I did a little customizing to our '03 Pace car yesterday.

Does it look straight?

I wanted to make our Pace car resemble the original Pace cars more.

Looks great RJ, but I am not into a lot of decals on a Monte Carlo
I like the clean look, like yours is now.
[:-]Save the decals for the Pace Cars on the Track [:-]

I think everyone should do to their Monte`s, what makes then Happy. It really does not matter what others think, but what
the owner thinks 4-Sure. He is the one that paid for it, and
see`s it the most.
Thanks for sharing/posting

Looks okay. I forget if Ohio uses front plates or not.
If you aren't installing a front licence plate, I would look into gettinga front filler panel from a junk yard or the net. Even if it's not the right color, just paint it to match. Then put the Chevy decal on that. Would give it a more finished look.

The way you have it in that pic looks okay though.

Looks good. Nice little touches can really make a car. As long as they arent overdone.

Looks good to me. Now it would look really nice if you put the light bar from the pace car on yours.

It looks nice but I agree with Taz about finding the plate filler. In IL you have to have a front plate but I think it ruins the look of the car so I kept my cover on. I do have the front plate in my map pocket on the back of the driversideā€˜s seat. I have never had a problem, but I don’t drive the car everyday either (it is my show car). I guess you can get away with it if you are careful.

I do apologize to everyone. I think a mistake has been made.

The last picture I posted isof one of theoriginal Pace cars. Not our Pace car.

I wanted a reference for everyone to see.

Our Pace car still has the stock, dealer installed Nascar flags on the side of it.

As for the front filler cover, I did purchase one. From MCF moderator Mickey. But it's still white in color, not Superior Blue as our car is. Plus the state of Ohio requires a front plate.

The red bow tie is under the front plate. I would have to remove the 2 screws, remove the front plate to show off the decal I installed. But that's fine. If I wanted to do this, I would.

I also did this to the back of the car. But this decal was installed back in june of this year.

Let me ask this.

The Team Monte Carlo decals on the lower, rear (behind rear tires) quarter panels of the original Pace car.

How do you think smaller verions of this would look on our Pace car? Too much?
