I was curious.. i have a 2001 SS, on the dash on top of the odometer it says "Limited Edition" what is the diffrence between a regular ss and mine if there is one?? maybe its the extra flare on the car?? like the body kit. dunno just wondering

 

My 2nd Monte was also a 2001 SS LE. I dont think there is anything REALLY special about them. Just an all option car, with a little bonus on the speedo to make it a little more rare. I liked the lit red bowtie on the speedo. My Intimidator SS doesnt have that.

 

If you email your vin number to Chevy they'll tell you EXACTLY what your car is, some cars just have a limited edition dash board in their otherwise stock Monty.

 

It's usually some kind of special package put together - sunroof, foglights, and premium stereo. Then the LE badging to make you think you have something great.
