I recently jumped my friend, and idiocly i put the jumpers across my 2 hot terminals on my relay and fuse boxes in my engine bay, thinking one was a negative,, and the small charge his battery did have, fried my starters relay, whitch than died completly 2 days later stranding me at a friends house.

yeah well he payed the 50$ since i was jumping his car and it happnd, lol it was a real brain fart on my time, i just thought they were there for that purpose since the screw in bolts are really hard to get a clamp onto. :| ah well.

 

coulda happened to anyone, definately coulda been worse tho

 

yeah i thought it shorted the starter its self. now that would of suckkkkkked but the relay took one for the team. going to pick it up in an hour. im excited, i missed my baby ;P

 

There was a local cop who was trying to be nice and jumped a woman's car with his cruiser.

He hooked the two batteries up incorrectly and the one in his cruiser exploded in his face. He was lucky the battery acid didn't do more damage then it did.

 

zing. I just got a 100$ driving sitation on way home from paying a 55$ repair bill on a 12$ part, talk about insult to injury, but in the officers defense, i did pretty much cruise right on through that stop sign :|
