Yes, the car does have T-tops. I like the addition of them, but I also worry and hope they don't spring the usual problem and leak when it rains, that would be a real hassle.
And it's possible I might love the Camaro more than the Monte in the end, but both cars will always have a place in my heart, mostly because they are both GM, where my loyalties lie.
I suppose this isn't the place to ask for advice on modifications for the car, but I've spotted on www.pyfc.com one of those SS hoods for it, for only $419, cheaper than the Monte Carlo hood. That might be one of my first additions. Anyway, thank you all for your comments.

Just remember that those hoods are also fiberglass, so you will need a really good body guy, who is good at fiberglass and fitting. If you choose a guy that's not so great, it can take a long time and the price for install will be very high.
Yes the hood is cheap, but it most likely won't fit right out of the box and will require a lot of prep. And then you still have to paint it. Expect the total to be more around $1500 for that hood.

And yes, it's the LS1 V8, wasn't going to buy a V6 Camaro if I could help it.
