Default key fobs won't program 2004 MC

I bought new fobs for my 2004 Dale Jr Monte.
Following the instructions in the owners manual I can't get them to program.
The setting for programming them doesn't seem to get into programming mode. The "push fob" light never blinks to start the programming.
Does anyone have a suggestion what I do now?
Thanks,
Wayne

Maybe the battery is low or bad.

Thanks, However, The battery starts the car. The radio goes thru all the proper steps but won't flash the 'push fob' light. The fobs are new and the batteries are fully charged.

Can you walk us through the steps you are taking?

Are you following these steps? https://northcoastkeyless.com/2004-c...-instructions/

yep, doing it like that. When I get to step 7 no chirp from the car.

My owners manual says at step 7 the 'press fob' should blink before holding the lock/unlock buttons. Then it should sound when the program is accepted.

It isn't working either way. I can hold the buttons and nothing happens.

I'm in touch with the seller of the fobs. Hopefully they will have some guidance.
