just hand washed the car for the first time... wow Im not very observant.. finally noticed 1 side says monte carlo ss & the other side says ss....lol

 

I thought the 04s only came with the SS on the sides, no Monte Carlo....

I agree though, the 04s only say SS on the sides... weird, someone must have put 1 logo on haha

 

Maybe the one off the trunk lid? That would explain why he only has one side.

Or some thief at the factory stole all the "Monte Carlo" badges off of our cars, and missed one of his? I know some thief stole all the trunk locks from the 2005 Monte's.

 

It could, be a factory joke on the potential owner ?
I used to check in new cars for a dealer back in the late 80's
and sometimes I would see a trucks that read "Silverado" on one
side and GMC " Sierra" on the other. Regular Camaro's that read IROC
and other goof ups. A Brown S-10 with bright blue interior ! Yes, from
the factory. Uuggglly ! ...and also coke bottles inside the doors.

 

the more you wash your car, the more you will notice new scratches or dent or dings! ive heard of factory workers putting pop bottles in the seats of new cars. i forgot which kind of cars though.

 

Wow... First hand wash in 6 years... Poor car.
