Yeah, what's up with the Conquest/Starion next to the Skylark? Also, how about that '57 wagon in the background?

im suprised you knew what that was, not many people pick out a starion. i've heard RX7 and camaro more times than that, lol. the starion & '57 are my dad's toys.
the starion is an '87 widebody car and was HIGHLY optioned. deluxe maroon leather interior, 4banger / turbo, 5 speed, deluxe stereo sound, dealer applyed decal package and clear stone chip protector things on the lower body. we got it with about 20k miles on it for VERY cheap because it had been stolen & recovered, no title issues but all 4 wheels were pretty much squared off & smashed up, and the wheels are SUPER hard to come by for that car, and the radio was missing. other than that, perfect. they were gonna donate it! so we got it togeather, cleaned it up and my dad drove it on & off till 2007, god it was an awsome little car but it was time for a rebuild and we could not afford to do it justace so we sold it & a red '88 starion parts car ( auto, black interior, sunroof.) the guy compleatly restored it and we have seen if for sale recently, it was beutifull.

the '57 he still has, its an old hot rod & need quite a bit of work, but its got a 350, fuelie heads, torquer intake & holly 650 junk carb, headman headers, ect... borg warner T-10 4 speed, we just did a 11 inch clutch in it, hurst shifter, and a factory posi rear.

Heh, well having an '89 Conquest myself might have something to do with me spotting the one you guys had. And yeah, I've had it mistaken for everything under the sun it seems.

Also, wagons are cool and a 4 speed in one is even cooler. With the patina on it now it looks like an awesome road trip car.

ya still have the conquest? they are very cool cars, and amazingly fast. ours was able to give 5.0 mustangs a run for their money out on the highway i miss that car alot, but it was getting kinda rough towards when we sold it, im glad the new owner restored it. the black panel on the nose was because someone tried to pry the hood open and bent the crap outta it & the hood, it was starting to rust a lil in the rockerpanels, and the engine needed an overhaul.

and yha i love that wagon, its pretty fast and really loud & obnoxus, lol. but it needs a lil bit before we can drive it good. new tires, brakes, a wiper motor that works, a heater / defroster, and new weatherstripping. its very leaky inside right now, haha. but its getting there little by little. im hoping this summer i can get my dad to do a lil more work to it & be able to take it to some local shows

Yeah, I have still it. It's looking pretty sweet since the respray back in '08. Now it just needs a steering, suspension, brake and drivetrain rebuild, basically everything else. It's white with some black, it's my panda car. Pic

Best of luck with getting that '57 back on the road. Cars like that, no matter how rough looking, are better than any new car in my opinion.
