Just bought a transmission for my 2004 Monte Carlo LS is there any kind of flashing or programming should I know about when installing the transmission or is it just plug and play thanks for the help guys

 

As long as it's the same kind of transmission with the same gearing it should bolt and plug right up with no problem.

But, for example, if you get a transmission from a 2004 Monte Carlo SS, modification to the PCM would be needed to run with your car.

 

What what type of modification will need to be done for my computer

 

What car and engine did the new transmission come from?

 

I don't know I just know the pin match mine is a 17 pin transmission that's how the salvage yard I got the transmission from Match it up
