I give props to my '86 LS Monte.

We attended a cruise-in on friday august 8th. The first award handed out they called my name. Some ladies club liked my Monte enough to award it their plaque.

I guess all the good cars stayed at home that night? Actually that isn't true. A friend owns a nice '70-71 Cuda. He got nothing. No award at all. And I could tell he wasn't happy.

If I weren't too lazy I'd post a pic of the award. Sorry.




PS. Oh and I got my name in their local newspaper on the following moday.
(I didn't know I owned a 1980 Monte Carlo?)

Sorry guys.

The past week hasn't been a real good one for me.

Last friday afternoon we had to put our dog Heidi down. Her eye sight and hearing were all but gone. And she was having a lot of trouble even getting up to walk.

We got her and her brother Herman just before Christmas, 1992 at a few weeks old. They were so small I used to have to go out and shovel a path in the snow so they could go out and do their business.

When they were younger they used to bit my nephew Rob any chance they got. But they never bit his younger brother Matt?

Rest In Peace little girl. I miss you.

It would be so nice to be able to pet her one more time.

 

Maybe post a pic of her if you like RJ.

 

Even with two cats the house still seems somewhat empty.

 

This is the only picture I could find of her. I must have loaded any others on a CD and that's why I can't locate them?
But I believe it was taken 5 or so years ago? Cause she got a lot larger then she is in this pic.

 

Damn, RJ, one extreme to the other. Congrats on the win, sympathy for the loss of Heidi. If she made 16 years, it's because you loved and cared for her the best you could.
