Uh, no. I wasn't alive in 1970, 1971 or 1972

. And, I couldn't have gone as a baby/young kid ... lol!

Most of those I bought from a dealer ... and didn't pay near as much as what some of those seem to be going for on eBay.

Awesome collections.
Cowboy, I LOVE your glass case.
Right now most of my Earnhardt (Sr. & Jr.)stuff is boxed up (13 rubbermaid tubs full). I do have some stuff out, probably 2 more tubs full. If we ever get our house built, I already have a spot picked out, or should I say designed into the floorplan (The Earnhardt Corner,

), formy favorites inmy collection.

I met a guy from one of the Monte Carlo sites that offered me some stuff he had. But he's more or less disappeared and he lives in Canada so it's not like I can drive to his house to talk with him.

Dave,
I never intended to own everything printed about Monte Carlos. Just some stuff I feel I'd like to have.

I can't afford the original '57 Chevy stuff so I thought since I like Montes so well I'd see what I could do in terms of owning some of the stuff printed about them?

There's still the '70-79, '80-88, and '95-99 Montes I don't own anything about. Okay I've got a couple things about the '86 Monte but that's only one year. The '00-07 Montes have been my main focus so far.
