Well I just got off the phone with Chevy Customer Service and found out that my Car is
1,077 out of 4000. Unfortunately a New Certificate of Authenticity is not available (only for you Lucky original owners). She did say that Chevy is sending me a letter confirming the build number, but that is as close as I could get.


The number is 1-800-222-1020 if anyone is interested, I tried to go the Email route but was unsuccessful the call was not bad I was on hold for awhile and was finally told I would be called back in 15 mins, and she called back (that was good..lol)

A couple members here previously said that Chevysent them the cert of authenticity to them because it had never been issued, and they still had it on file.

Sounds like the orgininal owner of your car was issued the cert. They either still have it, lost it, or got rid of it somehow. It would have been kinda cool to have the real cert. But if it's the collectibility you're worried about, the letter from Chevy should be fine for most.
