Default Intake Question

I have a 2007 Monte Carlo LT(3.5L V6)... I have desperately been looking for an intake to fit my car and have had no luck... are their any intakes that will fit on my car? is it possible to put to 3.8L V6 intakes on my car? or even the 5.3 V8 intakes?

Check your e-mail, I just responded to your question...

www.coldairinductions.com has the intake. You may need to order it under the 3.9L V6 if he still does not have it set up for the 3.5L, but trust me, it will work awesome, and you'll be very pleased with the product. If you look in my alblum titled "new mods" you can see a pic of the installed product on a 3.5L.

it's hard to say how much hp is exactly nets. maybe 1-3 or so, just typical of any other intake. i do notice a pickup in throttle response and it's definitely louder with a nice throaty sound. you'll like it for sure

Man, I wish they made those for the 2003 MC, I would have been all over it.

I installed something similar on my other play toy (Nissan Titan) that made a huge difference in sound and performance..

Like Drew said, you will love the sound for sure, it sounds great, especially with exhaust and the intake in combo with each other. I can tell a slight difference in performance at high RPM's (like about 4,000)...But the noise is apparent as low as 2,200-2,500 RPM.

Seriously? There are like 6 options for the L36, or are you running an LS?

At the time that I gutted my airbox (right after I purchased it) there was not much out there. What air kits are popular now days for the 03 L36?
