Hey I got an 07 Monte Carlo Lt with a 3.5L engine is it even possible to switch the engine out with an Lt4 engine

It can definitely be done, but the financial end of it doesn't make any sense at all.

The crate engine by itself with a controller and bellhousing for a 4Lxx transmissoon is just over $15k. You'd probably have another $5k into a transmission to reliably hold that power, a couple grand into a rear end setup, etc etc.

At that point, you've still got to add in the cost of the rwd conversion to put it in there which could easily double the price or more.

Bottom line is that nobody is going to put $50k into a $5k car. If someone had that kind of cash laying around, there are a lot better options out there. Only way it starts to get realistic at all IMO is if the person can do nearly all their own fab work and then does the swap with an LS instead using used donor car parts. Even then, I think it wouldn't be hard to have $10k into the swap.
