If you're interested in building a clone SS a guy by the name of Mark Smith owns a beautiful clone. It started life as an SC Monte that he build. This car flies and is street-able.

 

yea, I've been breathing. I"m a pretty positive thinker so I will have to wait. Someone is a adveristing a crazy LS monte (preformance wise) for cheap but I dunno if I wanna do the work on making it a clone. I rather be the real deal...I dunno

 

the Clone cars are OK AS LONG AS YOU MAKE IT A POINT TO SAY THIS IS WHAT IT IS.
Dont try to make it a SS and say it is one . this most of the time to those who do know makes you look real stupid and or makes you look like a lier.

But i have seen some that will buy them and not know any diffrent are perfectly happy with it being just a clone. I personally like to have it as a real SS So i know the ressale is there when i need to sell it or if i want to later.

 

Yea, I hear ya. I'm the type of person that is I "faked" the SS, it wouldn't sit with me knowing that is what it is...and if I am going to put money into the car, I would expect a better re-sale

I had a government person do a detailed search on it and it came back all clean. talked to the owner, he's actually excited that I am buying it. Good shape, true dual exhaust which sounds great...cant wait

i would pay 5 for it if the paint and body were as clean as they look and the motor is strong.
Bu tim cheap so if it was not as good as it looked i would offer him 4 even to see if he bites on it LOL
I have gotten alot of cars from low balling them to find out where they really can sell it at. instead of just paying it out right with out tryign to get it lowerd

The guy sorta took a non-gay liking to me and I offered 4200 and he took

The paint is deff nice. Some and FEW minor imprections and scuff sorta marks. Nothing too major.
Engine is a 60 something 350 chevy small block. Sounds and looks strong. Needs a bit of outside cleaning though to make it looking nice.
