You guys know the story, but for those who don't... I traded in my '07 Monte SS custom "Intimidator" for my '11 Camaro 2SS back in September of '10.

The wife and I were looking at getting a new Chevy Cruze(love the Cruze, great car) for a 3rd car/work car for me to replace my aging '99 Century.

We drove by one of the dealerships here and guess what I saw???

My 2006 Monte Carlo SS custom "Intimidator"!!! This is the car I traded in back in '08 on a Cobalt Sport when gas was predicted to go to nearly $10/gallon. I saw it a year later and the woman that bought it put these nasty, a** vinyl decals down each side. UGH!!! I offered her $19K on the spot for it then. She refused.

Anyway, we may forego the Cruze, get my baby back, AND get rid of those "foo-foo" freaking graphics. See photo below. She's got a few rock chips here and there, but nothing major. She does have 47K miles now instead of 7800 like when I traded her in. BUT she is a GM Certified used vehicle. They offered to take those nasty, a** graphics off, replace the front ground effects, fix the rust spot in the left rear wheel well, and put new Goodyear Gatorbacks on it. I told them I'd have to think about it. They want $1800 over book value and I'm offering $1000 under book value.

So I'm back... almost...

Don't blast me for this, but I like the graphics...believe we've all seen worst.

Btw, I wanted those custom embroidered headrests.

I'll be getting the headrests embroidered on this one just like I had in the '07.

This one will look better since the leather is black and not gray like my '07 had.

Dealership just called, I'm on my way back there now.
