This is yet another question for my brother. i dont know why he wont get an username of his own.. He has an 06 lt and our younger sister is about to turn 16 and she really wants that car. His price range for a new car is approx 10,000 and he is stuck between a 2005 ss sc and a 00-02 ss camaro with the ls1. I personally think he should get the monte.. but he cant decide.. he wants somethin fast.. His goal is with either car to be able to take an 05 or newer mustang gt. Input anyone? with reasons

Camaro. Reason why is Traction! I had a '96 Z-28 & it ate an '03 Mach 1!
The guy didn't know I had a Pro-Charger under the hood! Looked all stock
outside...

Without a doubt get the camaro. The LS1 loves mods and is one of chevy's best motors.

How many miles on that Camaro and how is the condition of it?

The 05 SS is still a pretty new car, could have less "problems" that need to be fixed.

But if they are both decent miles and good bodies and taken good care of I would totally get that Camaro. (I'm already saving for an LS1 powered car)

If all he is looking for is fast, then go for the Camaro...

If he is looking for comfort, seating for 5 at times, a decent sized back seat, all packed into a car with good power, then get the Monte!

Hey! How about pulling up to a full-out '09 Shelby 500KR in the John Moss '95 Monte
with the 406 LT1 stuffed in it? NOW THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING TO SEE!

I LOVE TO DREAM! Darn -- If I could only win the Lotto!

Hi 07SuperSport,
If your brother just wants power/speed,
and doesn't want to take more then one friend
with him, then I would go 4 the Camaro SS,
But if he wants a powerful Touring Coupe that
he can take 4 of his friends, and ride in comfort,
I'd go 4 the Monte SuperCharged SS
"2 Each their own" ~>4-Sure.
I like'em both : )
