Default If there were no Monte Carlo ?

Hi `Member's,
If GM Chevrolet Division never made
the Monte Carlo, what vehicle would you
have chosen/selected for the same value
of your present Monte Carlo ?
The BeachBum's & I will look forward to what
you select as your replacement vehicle: )
(I know what Mod `Wiz Selected,
but I think he had to pay more for his Magnum : )
Please make your post below, and tell us why,
and what you choose. Thank You! ~ `Space

I would be in the same band WAGON as mod wiz.
A buddy just got a SRT8 Magnum. Its a bad *** ride. I think the Magnum is the best looking SRT8 so far not counting the challenger as I have not seen oneon the street.
Made me think a bit about trading in the monte for one since the magnum is being dicontinued after 08.
But nahhh I still like the monte better.

I dont think there is another fully loaded top trim V8 out there for the same price I paid for my Monte.

Hi `L.K.,and thanks for your post, but I think youwould have to pay about $10K more for a SRT8Magnumover the price of a 07MonteSS : (I do love the Magnum SRT8's, but loaded `upthey are over $42K : (I agree, it's difficult to find another vehicle in the class & priceof the Chevrolet Monte Carlo.I did get to drive the new Honda Accord V-6 Coupe, and they put 2-gether a nice package. We all can't be `Rich like Mod `Wiz Kidd : ) LOLBelow is a link on `Mag'shttp://autos.yahoo.com/dodge_magnum_...e/?source=nctd

I would have bought a 1987 Buick Grand National. I wanted one when I bought my first 1987 Monte Carlo SS and I almost got one before I boiught my 2007 Monte Carlo SS. So I would own a GN.

I think the 6 cyl magnums are in the same price range as the montes but you know me,i had to have the r/t v8 so i had to pay a little extra, but luckily i found such a good deal on mine, it wasn't much extra @ all

I think the only way to own a Magnum is to have a V-8,
anda SRT8's `if you have the extra $'s.
Mod `Wiz, you & your father are wise auto investor's,
and I think it was worth it to travel to Texas to pick `up
the one that you wanted.
I still love your Tony Stewart Edition Monte Carlo SS
SuperCharged, but I understand your change, not just
family reasons, but for the awesome power of a Hemi V-8 : )
Look'in forward to seeing your updated pic's.
Please share/post them to the forum : )
Wish you & the reader of this post a `Happy..

hmmm...hard to say, but that new G8 is looking pretty mean. I really like the Bonneville GXP from a couple years ago. I am a truck man to the bone, though, so I'm all about the Silverado. My next purchase will be a '07 or newer Silverado crew cab.
