Hey all. Got bored so I decided to go bonkers with MS paint tonight and I think Im onto something..

In the second page, I added in headlight "eyebrows" tinted windows and removed the bars from the front grille. What do you all think?

Also, does anyone know if the 00-05 taillights fit the 06-07? Id really like to see how they look in my monte, and maybe retrofit.. Wish I knew someone inRenfrew countywith one I could swap with for a few moments..

Why do you want the old generation taillights on a new one? The tinted windows look nice except for the front windshield and that looks a little nasty to me.

 

I dont know, I just kinda like the two seperate tailights with the clear plexiglas cover a bit better then the full red blobs. I guess its just a metter of opinion.

 

I think the best of your "Virtual Mods" is the removal of the bars in the grill. Presonally I don't care for the eyebrows, or the heavy tint on the windshield. I'm sure your program tinted the rear windows full black, and a real tint job would look better.

 

 

The tint yes. Now I think Ill leave the windshield alone as Im not 100% sure whats legal in Ontario.. But The headlight covers for sure, however I will buy the clear acryillic lenses and do the mod on the lens, so it doesnt have to be permanent. I have seen some lens covers out there, but they make the car look sleepy, Im looking for more of an agressive look...

The grill delete will depend on weather or not it is removable. If its a simple thing as some screws and a few hours with a dremel, it will be done.

One thing I know that will have to go on is dual exhaust. Boom tubes with the pipes cut on an angle..

Its amazing what a few hours and microsoft paintbrush can do, eh?

Well the '00-05 guys have installed '06 tail lights on their cars, so why not?

I like most of what you've done except for the tint. Too dark.

 

The 00/05 tail lights will work as long as you use your wiring and bulb socket

That's funny, cause I am interested in putting the new lights on mine since I found out they are interchangeable, maybe we can trade? The only apprehension I have is that the new ones have straighter line design and the older ones are more bubbly, so a temp fit to see how it looks is a good idea.
