I LOVE the color of my Monte. Blue is my favorite color, but past that, the Laser Blue Metallic is an AWESOME color.

Now, I would not mind a black Monte, or Metallic candy apple red Monte either!

That may be a little challenging to photoshop. But not impossible.
Beyond my limited photoshop skills. Sorry.

I'd like to see it though.

I've been back and forth with what color I want my monte to be...

option A is to repaint the whole car a little brighter white (once I get all the bodywork for the hood and side skirts finished up, and get rid of all the dents and such), and then repaint the back panel between the tail lights gloss black (its white now) to go back more to the look the car originally had. I like this look because it will be nice and clean looking. I just don't want to make it look like I'm following the trend of 'storm troopering out' the car, even though that's what it'll end up like.

option B is to repaint the whole car a medium blue (including the back panel), almost like a crayola crayon blue- maybe with just a hint of metallic (like the R34 skyline color). I like this because it would be different.

love how the white looks with tinted windows, but if I had the option to change, would go with flat black

Honestly- that's what a lot of people say. Even though there are a lot of white montes, the white looks so clean when its all smoothed out and such. Plus it would be easier not having to change the color of the jambs and such.

Do you have a future date for completion ?
No exact date set yet- since we moved to AZ, I can't do anything since its still back in storage in IN.

However, end of last week we just got the pre-approval for a home loan; and we're going to be doing a lot of home tours next Saturday (both of our work schedules don't permit it until then)- so we're hoping to be in a house by the end of summer. After that, its just a matter of getting a free weekend to fly back to IN to rent a Uhaul to drive all our stuff out (its almost a 30 hour straight trip, so it'll easily take all weekend with loading and unloading the truck).

Once that's done and any immediate repairs are done on the house, then I can get back to work on the monte.

We found one house we both really liked, it was about 2200 square feet, under 10 years old- and fit most of our requirements for a house. On top of that, it had a spacious 4 car garage (3 car wide, 1 bay double deep). Unfortunately- they already had 3 offers close to the asking price, and they were trying to move it quick- so we weren't able to get the preapproval done in time with our busy work schedules.

Its too bad because those garages are a one in a million around here- most are 2 car, with only a few houses even having the 3 car.
