Yup - I put one on my 05 - I used the 3 rubber gromits and used the mounting screws.

Altho I do not like the front plate, the one advange is that you can legally back into a place. Since you have a front plate. In KS from what I heard it is illegal for them to back in because there plate will then be hidden. But that looks wonderful. I will have to look into that when I get some money.

@AwesomeSS: Where is the kit that works/fits on the 2000-2005's? (If you have a moment or two ...)

I like the look of not having a front plate much better. I wish we didn't have to use a front plate here in Ontario, Canada. There's got to be some way of lobbying the government to not using front plates. Like using excuses like, half the cost, etc.

The only concern I have about the stow and go plate holder is when you drive into a steep driveway, or park in front of a parking curb and such. I'd be afraid of hitting it and ripping it off completely.

That is certainly a possibility. I've learned to be very careful. There are several city streets that I can't take my Corvette such as to the Post Office. I cringe every time I drive my wife's Traverse on those streets. I'm glad you brought that up. I'll have to be extra careful in the Monte.
