Today i sold my 87 to my little brother. He is just taking over payments on the monte. I just couldnt afford the car anymore. So now all i have is my 2002. Ill eventually find another one. Sometime. The car will always have a place in my heart. I wasnt really planning on selling but ya know. My brother will prolly be getting o here once in awhile and asking questions. I really hate to see it go. It realy hasnt hit me yet but im sure it will. At least this way i will know where she is and that she is being taken care of.

I know how you feel ben... I lost mine, and not due to selling it either... mine was totaled... my carla will always have a place in my heart, she was my first car!! At least you're keeping it in the family right???

I feel your pain thats how i felt selling my IROC-Z. But had to do to circumstances... At least its still in your family and you can watch its progress... Guy who bought mine totalled it....

 

its better to see our cars are still in the family passed down from our parents or sold to our sibblings

Sorry to hear about you selling the '87 Monte.

I'm glad I've been able to hang on to my '86 for the length of time I have.

Hopefully you can own another 4th generation very soon?
