the whole cutting a hole in the headlight thing a couple of the gxp guys ive seen have done it. and i believe his car is the one without the stripes. were you still having wheel spin with the slicks? the 60' looks like its still hurting you even on the 12s pass. oh yeah congrats!

yes my 60' does kinda hurt me, like i said i never run slicks before and will take me awhile to get the feel of launching better. this was my second time i went to the track. i'm done for the track this year, i'll be back next year. i probably need to do a good burn out too cuz i never use the water box on the burn out. one of the local guy broke his zzp axles when he doing the burn out in the water box that's why i didn't attemp to try. yes my car is the one without the scoop and the scoop on the other mc is non fuctional he said it's more for looks.

Needs to fiberglass it together so it's "good" looks.

the guy is like in his 60 and i don't want to talk bad about the stuff he put on the car i try to give him advice as far as performance mods. he said he also have a 85 ss, i like to see that one.
btw his is a 04 ss s/c too with the basic bolt on mods. he ran 14.8 @ 92 mph. his 60' is better than mine, lol. i think i'm going to email him later that i finally hit 12's.

what kinda of air pressure were you running in them? and what rpm were you leaving at? what stall speed is your converter? i didnt really read to much into what you have in that car so i dont know how wide that tire is or what not, but with a full blown slick i have to assume that your leaving at a decent rpm. and i honestly dont think that doing a burnout in the water box was the cause of the axle failure in that guys car.
