I moved up to the city here at few weeks ago, when I moved my father said to me "Don't plan on keeping your car nice do you?, because it won't stay nice up there for long"

Well, he was frigging right, Within a month, someone hit the back bumper (that was just repainted 4 months ago from someone else hitting it!!) and blishered the paint on the corner, annoying but it's not to bad.

However, Yesterday morning topped the cake, I went out to go to work to see this



So I give up, I swear, I will never buy a silver car again, Everyone I know who has a silver car has nothing but bad luck. But this is getting Ridiculous

sry to hear about ur car...thats y i am really afraid to move to milwaukee but the apartments we r lookin at have a garaje included for only $960 a month (wait only?!?!?!?!? wtf) but i find it worth it...i want my car in good shape, i cant handle it any other way

 

Sorry about your Monte. I've had so many close calls lately, I'm almost afraid to go anywhere. I just know that someone is going to screw mine up for me and I'm just not so sure I can control myself if it happens. Heck, I've waited forover 20 years to get a Monte, I sure don't want something to happen to it.

I personally don't like silver or white cars where I live. They blend into the snow to easily and if you do a quick glance you can miss them vs. a red, blueor green car.

Now I don't want to sound like a hipocrit because I own a black car which just blends in well with everything at night. BUT I also park out of the way or in areas where I am less prone to be hit.

Well, I was gonna have the car repainted, but after yesterday, I gave up on that, It'll just end up the way it is now.

 

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Epic.
I'm not a fan of white or silver cars. To easy to lose sight of in bright sunlight and snow. Plus I'm more of a red car guy. With blue or black being my back-up choices.
I know it's frustrating, but I would get the paint fixed. Other wise it'll start to look like a beater.
